Will there be a Course to suit me?
|
|
We can start the course at any time of the year and we constantly review your training schedule so that it will reflect your progress and the time you can devote to training.
(This means that whether you want a fast-track course or want to take your time we will tailor-make a programme to suit you).

What qualifications will I get?

|
Train for the British Horse Society Stages 1,2,3, PTT, Stage 4 and ITT & BHSI qualifications.
Summerhouse is a BHS Examination Centre for Stages 1,2,3, and PTT as well as ABRS Levels 1 & 2
and NVQ Levels 1,2,3 and Key Skills and new NVQ Coaching Unit.
Also Equine Specific First Aid Certificate, Child Protection Certificate & Pony Club D,C,B & A tests.

Can anybody else take the examinations at Summerhouse?
|
|
Yes. In addition to the school leaver we recommend the part time BHS or NVQ qualification for adults, with training sessions tailored around other commitments.
We also offer intensive or semi-intensive courses to students who wish to gain further BHS qualifications. Equine Specific First Aider at Work and NVQ Assessor Courses
Internal Verifier Courses and are also available. Training is available for all these courses at a time to suit you, just email or ring us with your requirements

What will my training cost?
|
|
Dependent on your circumstances we may be able to access funding from accredited bodies on your behalf, which will enable you to receive a monthly training allowance. Support costs are also available.
