Buy a Summerhouse Horse or Pony - What are the Costs?
All our horses are available for purchase. You have the opportunity to purchase a horse or
pony and agree to keep them on Working Livery at Summerhouse for a minimum of 2 yrs. This way the horse
is not only looked after by Summerhouse, but also exercised for you. A Solicitors contract and agreement
to be signed. After this period, the horses may be taken away and
an additional premium of £1000, paid to release the horse from the contract.

£30/wk. You have priority of use and the horse is used in the school up to
2 times a day during the week and 3 times a day at weekends.

£15 - £65 every 6 - 12wks depending on whether the horse has shoes or not

Other costs may be Vet, injections, additional bedding, worming, equipment
etc
DIY livery also available - £25wk for a stable, owner looks after horse and
provides all feed/ hay etc, which may be purchased from Summerhouse or privately
as the owner wishes.

Equipment
We are happy for you to use Summerhouse equipment and request that it is cleaned after each use.
We are happy to help you purchase your own equipment, using our Equine Suppliers at very reasonable prices.
