Barbie, Sparkle, Beauty and Tinkerbell our American Miniature Ponies!

Standing at around 29” high, these teeny tiny ponies have been brought into the centre to encourage both adults and children to enjoy horses as much as we all do. With the 2012 Olympic just around the corner, it is a prime opportunity to get everyone involve in the sport that we love, equestrianism.

American Miniatures are a very kind and quiet natured breed and like a lot of fuss and attention. With them being so small, we are able to provide a safer environment that is less intimidating to nervous children and adults.

We willl be providing schools with the opportunity to come and see the ponies and have talks and grooming sessions as part of their learning process. They will be available for children’s parties of all ages – children will be able to groom them, play dress up, we will have glitter hoof oil, glitter coat shine, ribbons, tutu’s, flowers, bows etc which the children will be able to dress their own pony up with. They then can take the ponies indoors or out for lead rein games and lead rein agility jump and obstacle races – where the children can run and lead their ponies around and over jumps and obstacles. Rosettes will be awarded and photos taken at the end with their special ponies and prizes.
